Plans are underway for Eastports 22th Annual Festival.
Festival Dates: September 6 and 7, 2008.
This is your invitation to be a part of the celebration!
The annual Arts and Crafts Show will once again be an important part of the Maine Salmon Festival activities. The hours for the show will be from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
This event will be well advertised through a number of outlets.
Booth spaces will be available under tent. You must provide your own table and display gear. Electricity is available at the Fish Pier location tent only and may not be available at other locations. You will need to provide up to 80 feet of your own extension cord. Set-up must be completed by 9:30 a.m. on the Saturday of the event. Limited security will be provided for those exhibits under the tents only. There will also be extra police coverage provided during the festival as well as Coast Guard camera security on the breakwater.
The enclosed form should be returned as soon as possible to ensure your choice location, however this cannot be guaranteed. A second exhibitor tent may be available if demand is great.
Under Canopy Exhibit Spaces are approximately 10 by
10. Outside spaces flexible but
limited. Electricity cannot be assured
for those who apply late.
As a Chamber of Commerce Sponsored event active Chamber Members, (ours and others) are eligible for a 10% discount of the registration fee. There is also a 5 % discount if your application is received, paid in full postmarked before 1 August 2008.
We look forward to seeing our many friends from prior festivals and new ones as well for the 2008 Maine Salmon Festival in Eastport.
Exhibitor Contract
A signed copy must be submitted with your application.
The Eastport Area Chamber of Commerce, Maine Salmon Festival Committee invites you to participate as an Arts and Crafts Exhibitor/Vendor. A signed copy of this instrument and payment in full are required for entry to the festival by August 31, 2008.
Festival Hours: Saturday, 6 September, 2008 10:00am to closing
Sunday, 7 September, 2008 10:00am to 5:00pm
Location: Breakwater, Eastport, Maine
EXHIBITOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up must be accomplished, and vehicles removed from the Festival area, to parking spots provided nearby before 10:00am Saturday. Dismantling booth displays or in any way making preparations to pack out prior to the close of the Festival without prior notice to the Exhibitor Coordinator is discouraged and will be considered when applying for future festivals. Vehicular traffic on Water Street will be restricted to pedestrian traffic during the Festival if needed.
Exhibitor hereby waives and releases all claims they may have against the Eastport Area Chamber of Commerce, subcontractors and assigns relating in any way to the Maine Salmon Festival in Eastport whether now in existence or coming into existence in the future, on its own behalf or on the behalf of any insurer which may subrogate the rights of the exhibitor, including but not limited to claims.
Exhibitor agrees to hold harmless the Eastport Area Chamber of Commerce, agents or subcontractors for any and all damages, injury or loss. Exhibitor agrees to be responsible to keep their assigned area free from debris and hazards to the public.
